Frequently Asked Questions

Are Continuing Education courses accredited by the AANA?

Yes, all courses are accredited for Mac ED CE hours through the AANA, as listed in the course description.

Class A/Class B transition to MAc Ed/Mac Dev Explained:

Mac Ed (formerly known as Class A) and Mac Dev (formerly known as Class B). CRNA’s are currently required to have 60 Mac Ed’s credit, and 40 Mac Dev credit, totaling 100 credits.

CRNA’s earning more than 60 Mac Ed (Class A) credits will have those credits overflow into their Mac Dev (Class B) credit requirement. Essentially, you can do all 100 Mac Ed (Class A) credits.

Depending on specific state requirements, you may need credits in Pharmacology. This is also true for specialties, like providers working in pain management.

GasMaps offers Mac Ed credit, Pharmacology credit, and Pain credit modules! You can find the specific credit offerings in the series descriptions.

When will I receive my certificate of completion? Do you offer brochures?

Certificates are available for download within the course module after course and learner assessment/course evaluation completion. 

Itineraries are available upon request. We will need you to provide your location and dates of attendance using the Travel Inquiry form.

Are you CRNA owned and operated?

Yes and Yes

GasMaps was created by CRNAs, for CRNAs, because we know your time is valuable, your standards are high, and your education should fit your lifestyle. 

Are there restrictions on what vacations can be used for reimbursement?

You will need a physical address for tax purposes for reimbursement. Due to this, generally Cruise Vacations can not be reimbursed. 

Will GasMaps submit proof of CE completion to the AANA?

Yes! GasMaps will submit earned Mac Ed CE hours to the AANA on a quarterly basis. If you need your CE hours submitted to the AANA sooner, send us a message and we can do that for you. If not an AANA member, users will submit their own credits to the NBCRNA.

Housekeeping! Is your AANA membership current?

If you have completed your courses and associated Learner Assessments/Course Evaluations, and you do not see your CEs reflected in your AANA account, please confirm that you are not due for AANA membership renewal. If your AANA membership is current and you still do not see your CE hours, please contact GasMapsOrg@gmail.com so we can follow-up!
